Due to the innovative culture within this organisation they are now looking for an experienced Cognos Business Intelligence Developer with proven experience in a commercial, innovative and collaborative environment. You will be working as part of the BI team to support and develop production solutions to support the business objectives.
As you would expect with an innovative company they are embarking on a number of projects with one of them being the redesign of their data warehouse. The company have also invested in the latest release of Cognos Analytics 11.10 making this a great company and environment to enhance and grow your skills. Due to this being a key project for the company and a key part of the Business Intelligence development function this role will form an integral part of that team and project.
The business is looking for an additional team member with technical ability within IBM Cognos 10.1.2 through IBM Analytics 11.1. You will be creating, enhancing and maintaining Framework Manager models to support business requirements. Experience working with Cognos Business Intelligence solution, data drill down and slice-and-dice options are also essential in this role.
In addition you will also need to demonstrate in-depth experience within Advanced SQL, preferably T-SQL, writing stored procedures and functions, dynamic and static SQL and financial reporting, preferably using ComShare or SSRS
The role will be based from Pembridge, Nr Hereford, but will allow for a degree of flexible working (1 to 2 days per week).
