2nd Line Support Engineer required for an exciting opportunity based in Farnborough.
In this role you will be heavily customer facing provide 2nd line support to a variety of mission critical applications on a 24x7 basis. The customer facing nature of the role means that you'll need to have a confident and assured communication style with the ability to quickly learn and develop skills in a DevOps environment where you will be trained in a variety of DevOps practices and tools.
You will have the following skills and experience:
* Knowledge of Linux
* A desire to learn new technologies.
* Experience of supporting a variety of applications
* Interested in Docker and Hadoop
* Above all outstanding customer facing abilities
The 24/7 shift pattern is on rota of 4 on, 4 off (08:00 - 20:00, & 20:00 - 08:00). Please note this position will require SC level Security Clearance so you will need to be happy to undergo clearance process with one of the main criteria that you have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years
